Group decision: We are against the parents’ decision to limit the time children can use computers.
Leader: Let’s discuss the problem. What do you think?
Ann: I disagree with the decision. Computers help us do our homework and find useful information.
Tom: I agree that children should not spend all their free time playing computer games, but a strict limit is not the best solution.
Kate: In my opinion, children can use computers for two or three hours a day. They should also have time for sport, reading and meeting friends.
Mike: I agree. Parents should explain the rules and help their children use computers properly instead of simply limiting the time.
Leader: Let’s vote. Who is for the parents’ decision?
One student votes for it. Three students vote against it.
Result: The majority of our group is against the decision. We think that children should use computers responsibly, with reasonable rules rather than a strict time limit.
