Текст аудирования:
(E = Emma; C = Chris)
E: Hi! Is it your first day today?
C: Yeah, I’m Chris.
E: I’m Emma, hi.
C: How long have you worked here?
E: Oh, about three months — just on Saturdays.
C: Do you work all day?
E: Yeah — from nine till five.
C: I’m just working from eleven till five. So, what do I have to do?
E: Well, at lunchtime you have to take people’s orders — we serve them at the tables. Don’t forget to write everything down, so you don’t forget!
C: Yeah …
E: And you have to clean the tables as well, after every customer… And then, after lunchtime, you have to go in the kitchen … and load the dishwasher — that takes ages!
C: Oh right, OK. Do I have to clean the kitchen as well?
E: No, you don’t have to do that — they have a cleaner who comes later. You just have to take out the rubbish before you go home.
C: Ah, OK. And where do I have to put it?
E: In those big black bins out there.
C: Right. By the way, do we have to wear a uniform?
E: No, don’t worry. You can wear your own clothes.
C: Hey, what about the others? Are they nice, the people that work here?
E: Yeah, you don’t have to worry about that -everyone’s nice. Thelma, the owner, she’s really friendly …
C: And what about the money? Do they pay us every week?
E: Yeah, you have to go to Thelma’s office at the end of the day. You can eat here as well, you know, if you want, after work …
C: Oh, cool. Thanks.
