Match the pairs of sentences.

You’ve hiked in the mountains with your family. Look at the pictures and the prompts and write notes in the table below.

Last month I hiked in the mountains with my family. On the first day we started along the path and, fortunately, arrived at the hostel in the evening. We shared a room there, and I was really excited because it was our first night in the mountains.

On the second day we climbed a mountain. It was a tiring walk, but the view was amazing. Suddenly, a goat chased Dad, and we all laughed. Dad was a bit frightened, but luckily he wasn’t hurt.

When we woke up on the third day, we packed our things and got ready to leave. Unfortunately, it started to rain, but then a beautiful rainbow came out. It was a wonderful ending to our trip.
