interesting country you’ve visited?
Janet: Thafs a difficult question because l’ve
been to almost one hundred countries. But l was very excited when l went to lndia for the first time. Yes, lndia is certainly one of my favourite places.
Journalist: And have you seen the Taj Mahal?
Janet: Unfortunately l haven’t. lndia is a very big
and interesting country, so ifs impossible to see every part of it.
Journalist: Tell me about the food you’ve eaten in different countries.
Janet: Food. Yes, l’ve eaten a lot of strange things, like kangaroo meat in Australia and insects in China.
Journalist: lnsects?
Janet: Yes, l was surprised when l discovered what they were. l thought they were vegetables!
Journalist: Yuck!
Janet: l haven’t tried snake meat, but l have seen other people eating it. And l’ve seen people eating spiders too! They offered me some but l said no!
Journalist: l don’t blame you! And where are you
going on your next trip, Janet?
Janet: Well, l’ve read a lot about Peru and l’m interested in its history, so maybe Peru.
Journalist: Well, wherever you go, have a fantastic time!
Janet: Thank you.
