I’ve bought a lot of gadgets this year. My parents gave me money for my birthday so l bought a new MP3 player. I’ve uploaded 715 songs onto it. l love music. ln January l bought a new mobile phone. lfs got Internet connection too. l use it to do online gaming sometimes. lfs great fun.

We’ve just got Internet broadband so now our connection is great. My dad reads e-books and I’ve joined a couple of social networking sites. We use the Internet a lot in our house. My mum uses it too. She reads online newspapers and checks the weather forecast every evening.

I’ve never had a mobile phone and l hate the
World Wide Web. l prefer traditional books and
encyclopaedias. I’ve looked at sites like Facebook but l think they are a waste of time. I’ve tried surfing the Internet but l don’t like it. All my friends have had mobiles since they were ten or eleven, but not me. I’m the odd one out!
