Hi! I’m Matt and I’ve got two brothers and three sisters. We all started helping with household chores when we were very young. First we put our toys away and then we started helping in the kitchen. Now we’re older we can do other jobs, like making our beds or unloading the dishwasher. i’m 13, so I’m allowed to cook, but Mom says l also have to do the washing up. We don’t have to do housework every day, but we all have special chores. My youngest brother is six and he has to make his bed. My other brother, Joe, is a bit older and he has to help me with other chores. My three sisters don’t have to mop the floor or take the rubbish out — but Joe and l do! However, they have to do the ironing, and they help Mum do the shopping too.
