Текст аудирования:
1 What would you do if you won 100 pounds?
If I won 100 pounds? Oh, I guess I’d spend it! I think I’d get some new clothes. I suppose I should give some to charity, but I don’t think I would. I haven’t got much money, so I think I’d treat myself to something new!
2 What would you do if you felt ill during an exam?
Oh, gosh, i don’t know … would I go home in the middle of an exam? No, I don’t think so. I’d stay and finish it, I think. I mean, if I was, like, really dying then I’d leave, but otherwise I’d stay and finish it, definitely.
3 What would you do if you found a wallet?
If I found a wallet… what, like with money in it and everything? Well, it would be great to keep it, but I wouldn’t. I’m too honest! I’d take it to the police station. Hmm. I mean, you never know. You might be on CCTV so if you took it, then the police would find you!
4 What would you do if you got lost in the mountains?
Hmm, it depends. I think if I got lost in proper mountains — like in Scotland, say — then I’d call Mountain Rescue. Because I mean, that could be dangerous. But I wouldn’t go into the mountains alone, so I hope my friends would know the way and we wouldn’t get lost in the first place!
5 What would you do if you forgot your mum’s birthday?
Oh gosh, it would be terrible! I’ve never forgotten her birthday. But if I forgot, then I’d do something special -I think I’d take her out for lunch the next day. And I’d get her a present, of course, maybe a book or a CD or something …
6 What would you do if you saw a friend shoplifting?
That’s a hard one! To be honest, I think I’d walk away.
I know that really you should do something — tell a shop assistant, maybe — but I think I’d pretend I didn’t see it. Because you don’t want to cause problems for your friends, do you? But anyway, then I’d talk to my friend later… I’d talk to them about it, I think …
