Chris: Did you give him some money?
Amy: Yes, he’s collecting for charity. I think it’s a good cause.
Chris: So do I, but I don’t like it when they stop you in the street.
Amy: No, neither do I, but maybe they get a lot of money that way.
Chris: Yes, I suppose so. But if they didn’t stop people, they’d get more money!
Amy: Do you think so? I don’t agree. If they didn’t stop people, no one would give them any money.
