1) About my country/hometown
I would like to tell my foreign friends about my hometown. It is situated in Russia, not far from Moscow. My hometown is famous for its beautiful streets, old buildings and friendly people. There are many interesting places here, such as the central square, the local museum and the park near the river. I would like to show my friend the museum because it tells the history of our town, and the park because it is a nice place to relax and enjoy nature. I think my hometown is special because it is quiet, cosy and full of history.
2) About the traditions my family follow
My family follows some traditional celebrations and special occasions. We always celebrate New Year and birthdays together. On New Year’s Eve we decorate the house, put up a Christmas tree, prepare a festive dinner and give presents to each other. On birthdays we invite relatives and friends, make a cake and spend time together. I like these traditions because they bring our family closer and make every celebration warm and happy.
