In favour:

• Russians are brave. Many people in Russia are ready to help others in difficult situations.
• Russians are patriotic. They love their country and are proud of its history and traditions.
• Russians are hospitable and generous. Guests are usually welcomed warmly and treated with care.
• Russians are friendly to foreigners. In my experience, many people are open and willing to communicate.
• Russians have a good sense of humour. They often like jokes and funny stories.

Against:

• It is not true that Russians don’t like to work hard. Many people study and work a lot to achieve their goals.
• Not all Russians take an active part in social life, but many of them do, especially young people.

In my opinion, these characteristics are only general stereotypes. Different Russians are different, just like people in any other country.
