Dear Ann,

I’ve just arrived in Britain and I want to tell you about my first day here. It was very exciting! The weather was a little rainy, but I still enjoyed everything. I saw many beautiful old buildings and walked along the streets with my host family. People were very friendly and polite. In the evening we had a nice dinner and talked a lot. I’m happy to be here and I hope to learn more about British life.
