A. Ancient Olympic Games and modern Olympic Games are different in many ways. In ancient times only men could take part in the Games, but now both men and women compete. In ancient times only one country took part, but now athletes from many countries do. Ancient Games included fewer sports, while modern Games have many different competitions. Today the Olympic Games are much bigger and more international.

B. The latest Olympic Games took place in Paris in 2024. The United States won the most medals. Many athletes were successful, but some of the most memorable winners were swimmers, gymnasts and track-and-field athletes. The Russian team was not allowed to compete as a team. The competition I remember best was the opening ceremony because it was bright, unusual and very impressive.
