I was invited to the theatre last Saturday. I felt excited because I was going to see a ballet. We bought tickets at the box office and arrived at the theatre in time. At the entrance we left our clothes at the cloakroom and bought a programme. Our seats were in the stalls, so we could see the stage very well.

Before the performance the lights went down and the curtains rose. During the interval we went to the buffet. When the performance was over, the curtains fell and the audience applauded loudly. I enjoyed myself very much.
