- The natural habitats of many animals, birds and fish in my region are polluted. Air, water and soil pollution are serious problems. I think that people can destroy the natural habitats of animals, birds and fish.
- I know some extinct animals and birds, for example, the Tasmanian tiger, the Caspian tiger and the dodo. They became extinct because people hunted them and did not take measures to protect them.
- Yes, I like going to the zoo. There is a big zoo in my city. I think zoos are interesting for people, but keeping animals in small cages is bad for them. However, zoos can sometimes help animals survive because their staff protect endangered species and prevent their extinction.
- There are birches, oaks, pine trees, dandelions and daisies in the region where I live. People sometimes cut down trees, but they usually plant new ones. I think it takes a small tree about ten years to become tall and strong. It is dangerous to have few trees and few species of trees and flowers in forests and fields because plants produce oxygen and support many animals. People and animals cannot live without oxygen.
- I think people are beginning to discuss environmental problems more seriously nowadays because there are more and more urgent ecological problems in the modern world. If people do not discuss these problems and suggest ways to solve them, our planet will become a difficult place to live in.
