I work at my English in different ways.
In class I try to be good at English and come with practice. I work in pairs, ask questions and give short or full answers. I exchange opinions with my classmates, develop my pronunciation skills and make my vocabulary larger. I also work hard at my grammar, write quizzes and tests, have dictations and enjoy my lessons because they are not boring.
At home I study regularly and prepare for the lessons. I spend a lot of time on exercises, learn irregular verbs, listen to the tapes and translate from English into Russian. I also read in the original, see films in English and learn about English customs and traditions. By and by I improve my English slowly and steadily.
In a school library I use modern technologies and electronic data. I work in the reading room, use reference books and text books, look up words in English-English and Russian-English dictionaries, read fresh newspapers and look through magazines. I make notes in pencil, find interesting facts, borrow books and read wonderful stories and novels by English classics in the original or in adapted versions.
