The White House is the home of the US President. There are a lot of interesting monuments in the city. Washington is also a city of museums. Its museums are world-famous, especially the National Air and Space Museum and the Natural History Museum.

New York is called the Big Apple. It stands on the Hudson River. It is a big port and stands mainly on three islands. It is a big business centre and attracts thousands of visitors. There are lots of bridges and world-famous skyscrapers there. The Statue of Liberty is one of the symbols of the city.
