Moscow State University is one of the best and oldest universities in Russia. It is located in Moscow, on the Sparrow Hills. The university was founded in 1755.

Moscow State University has a long and interesting history. It was named after Mikhail Lomonosov, a famous Russian scientist and writer. Today it is one of the most important educational centres in the country.

Interesting facts: the main building of the university is one of the tallest buildings in Moscow, and the university has many faculties, libraries and research centres. Many famous scientists, writers and politicians studied there.
