Sample answer:

1. I found it interesting that earthquakes can happen without warning and cause a lot of damage very quickly.
2. I was surprised that people can survive for days after a disaster if rescuers find them in time.
3. I learned that staying calm and following safety rules can save lives.

My experience:

If I experienced an earthquake, I would feel terrified at first. Everything would shake, and I would not know what to do. Then I would try to stay calm, hide under a strong table, and protect my head. After the disaster, I would feel relieved but also worried about my family and friends. It would be a very frightening experience, and I would never forget it.
