Moscow State University is one of the best universities in Russia. It is located in Moscow, on the Sparrow Hills. The university was founded in 1755 by Mikhail Lomonosov. It is the oldest university in Russia and one of the largest in the country. The main building is one of the famous Stalin skyscrapers and is a symbol of Moscow. Many well-known scientists, writers and public figures studied there. Today Moscow State University is famous for its high academic standards, beautiful campus and rich history.
