The saying means that pessimistic people usually do not achieve great things, because they are afraid to try new things and give up too easily. A positive and brave attitude helps people discover, explore and create something new.

To me, it means that if you want to succeed, you should believe in yourself and be open to new opportunities. Optimism gives people the courage to move forward and make discoveries.
