People like going on holiday because it helps them relax, have fun and forget about everyday problems. Holidays also give people a chance to see new places, meet new people and spend time with family or friends.
Going on holiday is more popular today than in the past because travel is easier and cheaper now. There are more transport options, more hotels and more online services for booking tickets and accommodation. Also, people usually have more opportunities to travel than before.
The worst holiday I’ve ever been on was a trip to the seaside last summer. The weather was terrible, it rained every day and we couldn’t go to the beach. Our hotel room was uncomfortable, and one day our luggage was lost. It was a very disappointing holiday, but now it is just an unpleasant memory.
