I was walking along the beach with my dog, Sam, when he spotted something in the sand. He started digging it up and waving his tail happily. It turned out to be a wooden box with coins in it. I quickly grabbed it from Sam, who was trying to chew it, and took it straight to my history teacher, Mr Brown. As soon as I saw the look in his eyes, I knew we had found something special. Together, we went to the local museum. They examined the coins and they announced that they were 250 years old. Can you believe it? A box full of valuable coins had been waiting for someone to find it for so many years!
