Подробный ответ

Situation One

A: I think paper publications are becoming less and less popular. In the near future, most people will read books, magazines and newspapers on electronic devices.

B: I don’t agree. Paper editions will survive because many people still enjoy reading from paper. It is more comfortable for the eyes, and some readers simply like the feeling of a real book or newspaper.

A: But electronic versions are much more convenient. You can store hundreds of books on one device and read them anywhere.

B: That’s true, but paper publications will not disappear completely. There will always be people who prefer them.

Situation Two

A: I think public libraries are outdated. Soon they may disappear because people can find everything they need online.

B: I don’t think so. Public libraries are changing. They may become places for book lovers, where people can read, discuss books and take part in different activities.

A: That sounds interesting. Libraries of the future could be more like cultural centres.

B: Yes, and they will still be useful for students and readers of all ages.

Situation Three

A: Let’s decide what our school weekly will be like. I think it should contain school news, reports about events, interviews with teachers and students, and maybe some interesting articles.

B: Good idea. We can also add a page with jokes, puzzles and announcements.

A: What about illustrations?

B: We should make it bright and attractive with photos, drawings and colourful headings.

A: Great! Then our weekly will be interesting to read.
