Thank you for your letter. I’m glad you enjoyed Alice in Wonderland. I think it’s never too late to read a good book, no matter how old you are.

I like adventure stories, detective novels and books about teenagers. At the moment I’m reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. It is very exciting and funny. I also read some foreign literature, mostly in translation, because it helps me learn more about other countries and people.

My favourite books are those that make me think and imagine new things. I believe reading is a great way to relax and to learn something useful at the same time.
