Cosmonauts and astronauts have an unusual and very difficult profession. They work in space, far from home, and their job is connected with danger, hard training, and great responsibility. To do such a job, a person must be brave, strong, disciplined, patient, and able to work in a team. It is also important to be intelligent and calm in difficult situations.

I think this profession can be a good one for women too, because success in space depends not on gender, but on personal qualities and professional skills.

Flying into space in the nineteen sixties was much more dangerous and difficult than nowadays. At that time, space technology was new, and people knew very little about life in space. Today space flights are safer and more comfortable, but they are still very serious and require excellent preparation.
