1. Speak about the role of television in your life. Mention:
   • how much time you spend in front of the television;
   • if you watch television for information, entertainment or both;
   • what programmes you prefer;
   • what programmes you hate;
   • if you can imagine your life without television.

I don’t spend much time in front of the television, usually about one or two hours a day. I watch TV both for information and for entertainment. I like news, documentaries and sometimes films or sports programmes. I prefer interesting and useful programmes that help me learn something new. I hate boring shows, silly reality programmes and too much advertising. I can imagine my life without television, because now there are many other ways to get information and relax, but TV is still a part of my everyday life.
