1) The teacher, who never murmured to children but screamed, began to walk slowly along the rows of desks.
2) When the child was asked what his name was, he answered something which I couldn’t hear. He mumbled.
3) The pain in the leg was so strong that the patient screamed.
4) In my childhood my parents never screamed at me, never spoke at the top of their voices, but they didn’t mumble either. Their speech was always clear and loud enough.

6) When we don’t understand any rule, our teacher murmurs it to us.

Translation: scream — кричать, вопить; mumble — бормотать, невнятно говорить; murmur — шептать, бормотать тихо.
