Jethro Tull was an English inventor. He invented the seed drill, which helped farmers sow seeds more quickly and evenly. His invention was very important for agriculture and became one of the steps that led to the Industrial Revolution.
The Industrial Revolution in the 18th century had many advantages. Machines made work faster and easier, factories produced more goods, and people could buy things more cheaply. New inventions also helped industry and transport develop.
At the same time, there were disadvantages. Many people lost their jobs because machines replaced manual labour. Working conditions in factories were often hard and dangerous, and cities became overcrowded and polluted.
Yes, we can say that we live at the time of a new technological revolution. Computers, automation, the Internet, and modern technologies are changing the way we work, study, communicate, and live. This revolution is making life more convenient, but it also creates new problems and challenges.
