The Bronze Age began about 3,300 BC. The most important invention of this period was bronze, a new metal made by mixing copper and tin. People also learned to make better tools and weapons.

Typical activities of people in the Bronze Age were farming, raising animals, making tools and pottery, and trading with other tribes. Some people also worked as craftsmen and warriors.
