Приведем выдержку из задания из учебника Баранова, Афанасьева, Михеева 9 класс, Дрофа: 8 Work in pairs. You are having an interview with some famous person of show business. You know that he/she is very popular with teenagers and very busy. You are trying to invite him/her to your school.
Before making a decision about the date of the visit ask him/her:
•if he/she often meets teenagers and speaks to them;
•what things he/she would like to tell the pupils;
•if he/she will be able to find some free time and make a visit to your school and when it may happen.
You begin the conversation. Your partner will play the part of the star.
Remember to:
•be active and polite;
•ask questions and find out all the information you need;
•decide when he/she will visit your school.

Student: Good afternoon! Thank you for agreeing to talk to me.

Star: Good afternoon! You’re welcome.

Student: Do you often meet teenagers and speak to them?

Star: Yes, I do. I often meet young people at different events and enjoy talking to them.

Student: What things would you like to tell the pupils at our school?

Star: I would like to tell them about my work, the importance of hard work, and how to believe in themselves.

Student: That sounds interesting. Will you be able to find some free time and visit our school?

Star: Yes, I think I can. I’m quite busy, but I can make some time.

Student: When could it happen?

Star: Next month would be best for me.

Student: Wonderful! We’ll be glad to see you at our school next month.

Star: Thank you. I’ll be happy to come.
