We asked our classmates these questions. Some of them have read the Declaration of Human Rights, but not all of them. A few students said that their relatives suffered in World War II. Most of them know that about 50 million people were killed in World War II. Many students know that in Russia this war is called the Great Patriotic War. Some of them could name the dates of its beginning and end: 1 September 1939 and 2 September 1945. All of them know that Russia is a member of the UN.
