In the Soviet Union only, the number of victims of the Second World War exceeded twenty millior people. That is about 40 per cent of all people killed during the War. For my project, I would like to write about the Second World War in the Soviet Union.

This topic is very important because the Soviet Union suffered greatly during the war. Millions of people were killed or wounded, and many towns and cities were destroyed. The war changed the lives of almost every family in the country.

I think young people should learn about this war to understand how terrible conflict can be and why we must do everything possible to prevent wars in the future.
