1. Stereotypes hurt many groups of people: women, men, old people, young people, people of different races, nationalities, religions, and people with disabilities.

2. It is wrong to have stereotypes about these people because stereotypes are unfair and untrue. They can hurt people’s feelings and lead to discrimination.

3. Discrimination is behaviour or language that treats people badly because of their sex, age, race, nationality, religion, or other differences.

4. Politically correct behaviour and language are respectful and careful. They do not offend people and do not show prejudice.
