1 The State Emblem reflects the history of the country. Sometimes they are mythical, such as the Scottish unicorn on the emblem of the UK or the double-headed eagle on the emblem of the Russian Federation. You can often see animals and birds on state emblems. It symbolises courage and power. If it consists of several parts, it usually symbolises the union of several parts of the country: A rare but real bird, the bald-headed eagle, is the main part of the Emblem of the United States. Sometimes real animals and birds are chosen as the symbols of the country. 8 Different floral elements often complete the concept of the emblem.
