I disagree with the idea that it is safer to make friends only with people who are most like you. Of course, common interests and similar values can help people understand each other better, but differences do not always cause conflicts.

Friends may have different hobbies, opinions, and backgrounds, and still have a strong relationship. In fact, differences can make friendship more interesting and help people learn new things from each other. Conflicts usually happen not because people are different, but because they do not listen, respect each other, or try to understand another point of view.

So, I think real friendship is based on trust, respect, and communication, not on being exactly the same.
