Today our group would like to speak about conflict. A conflict is a disagreement or a serious argument between people. Conflicts happen for many reasons: people may have different opinions, different interests, or simply misunderstand each other.

For example, a conflict can happen between classmates when they want to choose different topics for a project. It can also happen in a family when people do not agree about rules or responsibilities.

We think that a peaceful resolution is very important because it helps people keep good relationships and avoid more problems. As one of the clever thoughts says, “Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to cope with it.”

If people have a conflict, they should stay calm, listen to each other, and try to understand the other side. It is also important to speak politely, not to blame others, and look for a compromise.
