Dear Tom,

I’d like to tell you about the most interesting weekend I’ve ever had with my family. Last Saturday we went to the countryside for a picnic. The weather was warm and sunny, so we decided to spend the whole day outdoors.

In the morning we packed some sandwiches, fruit and drinks, and then drove to a beautiful lake. There we played badminton, took photos and went for a walk in the forest. My younger sister collected flowers, and my father taught us how to make a fire safely.

After lunch we sat near the water and talked for a long time. In the evening we watched the sunset, and it was really amazing. I felt very happy because we all had a great time together.

It was the best weekend I’ve had for a long time. I hope we’ll have such a wonderful trip again soon.
