Dialogue

You: Hello, Diana. My name is Alex. I need your advice about a conflict with my best friend.

Diana: Hello, Alex. What happened?

You: We had a serious argument because he told my secret to other people. Now I’m very upset and don’t know what to do.

Diana: I see. Have you talked to him about it?

You: Not yet. I’m afraid we may quarrel even more.

Diana: You should speak to him calmly and explain how you feel. Maybe he didn’t mean to hurt you.

You: That sounds reasonable. What if he doesn’t apologize?

Diana: Then give him some time. Later you can try to talk again and find a compromise.

You: Yes, I think I should do that. I’ll talk to him and ask him to keep my secrets in the future.

Diana: Good idea. I hope you’ll solve the conflict.

You: Thank you for your advice, Diana.
