Tom: Diana, do you live in a flat?

Diana: Yes. I live in an apartment.

Diana: Are there any big stores around?

Tom: Yes. It’s close to shops.

Tom is American, and Diana is English.

Answer: Tom says he has an apartment and lives in the suburbs, so he is American. Diana says she lives in a flat, so she is English.
