Children:

4. They lecture me for days about how I should behave.
5. They embarrass me in front my friends.
6. My parents want me to go to university and make a lot of money.
7. I’d like to spend some time with my friends.
8. They say that all my friends are losers.
9. I need my own space.
10. I want come home late.
11. She gets mad with me.
12. She nags me for days after that.

Parents:
1. Our son is angry with us.
2. We leave him to make his own decisions.
3. We try to do things together with him.
4. We try to give him advice.
5. It’s important for us to know where our son.
6. All these years we have been saving money to pay for him to go to university and we think he should be grateful for that.
7. All they want is to enjoy themselves and have fun.
8. But instead he wastes his time with his friends.
9. I try to respect my daughter’s views, tastes and friends.
10. There are some things that I can’t agree with her about.
11. I worry.
12. Every time my daughter comes home late and I try to talk to her about it.
