Moscow is the capital of Russia. It is a very large and beautiful city with many historical places, parks, theatres and museums.

One of the most famous museums in Moscow is the Tretyakov Gallery. It was founded in 1856 and now it has one of the best collections of Russian art in the world. There you can see paintings by famous Russian artists such as Repin, Shishkin and Vasnetsov. The museum is very popular with tourists and schoolchildren.

Moscow is also famous for its memorials. One of them is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin wall. It is a very important place where people come to honour the soldiers who died during the war. The memorial reminds us of courage, heroism and love for the Motherland.

In my opinion, Moscow is a wonderful city because it combines history, culture and modern life.
