2. Usually the person who has a problem starts the conversation. He or she does it by asking a question or saying that something is wrong.

3. Yes, all three conversations follow the same pattern: a problem is explained, help is asked for, and the other person responds.

4. You can use phrases like: Excuse me…, I’m sorry, but…, Could you help me?, Can you tell me…?, I have a problem…

5. You can ask for help politely, for example: Could you help me, please?, Can you give me a hand?, Would you mind helping me?
