Six brave cows have escaped from a farmer’s field and struggled through the high waters to set up home on a lonely island in the middle of the river Humber. They ran away from Foxfleet Hall Farm, lumped into the waters half a mile from home and swam to a muddy island, where they have been ever since. There is a lot of grass on the island and the cows seem quite happy, at least in the short term.
