Write an on-line letter about the best way to learn English.

Use the ideas from the box, if you wish.

Dear friend,

I think the best way to learn English is to use it every day. First of all, it is important to learn new words and grammar regularly. But it is not enough to study only from a textbook. You should also listen to English songs, watch films in English and read short texts or books.

Another good idea is to speak English as much as possible. You can talk to your classmates, your teacher or even to yourself. It helps you remember words and feel more confident. If you make mistakes, don’t worry — mistakes are a natural part of learning.

In my opinion, the most effective way is to combine all these activities. Then learning English will be interesting and useful.

Best wishes,
Mike
