“…I really can’t believe that I’ll be studying for the next five or six years!” Does this refer to the present or future? Does it refer to a completed action or one which will be in progress? Why do you think so?
“I’m sure you’ll have made up your mind about what to do by the time you leave school.” What do you think will happen first?

a) She will make up her mind.

b) She will leave school.

1) This refers to the future. It refers to an action which will be in progress, because will be studying is the Future Continuous.

2) b) She will leave school. She will make up her mind before she leaves school, because by the time means that one action happens earlier than another future action.
