Choose one of the specific features of Russian life on your list and write a paragraph for a visitor to prepare him / her for this experience.

One specific feature of Russian life is that people often take off their shoes when they enter a home. This is a sign of respect and cleanliness. Visitors should be ready for this custom and bring clean socks if possible. It is also polite to accept slippers if the хозяева offer them. In Russian homes, guests are usually treated warmly, so you should be friendly and follow the host’s rules.
