A book review
The last book I read was ’Lord of the Flies’ by William Golding, I read it because I love books about travel adventures.
’Lord of the Flies’ is about a group of English boys who find themselves on a deserted island after a plane crash. TWO boys, Ralph and his friend Piggy, become the leaders of the boys and organize them to work together to build shelters, find food and build fires. But some of the boys don’t want to work and spend their time playing, swimming and hunting. These boys become Ralph and Piggy’s enemies, and a war between the two groups of boys ends in a terrible way.
The book was really exciting but also a bit frightening. William Golding is a very good writer and he describes the characters of the boys really well. I’d recommend this book to anyone who is interested in friendship and adventure. — Jackie
