Present Perfect and Past Simple
6 Complete the text with the past simple or present perfect form of the verbs in brackets.
Jason (1) has lived in Italy for three months. He (2) moved there when he went to study at the university in Milan. At first Jason (3) didn’t know much Italian but over the past few months he (4) has learnt the basics from his flatmates, Paulo and Laura. Jason (5) studied Spanish at secondary school and this (6) has helped him a lot because the two languages are quite similar. When Jason (7) arrived in Milan he tried his first real Italian pizza.
