Alexander Pushkin was Russia’s most famous poet, novelist and playwright. He was born on June 6, 1799, in Moscow, Russia. Pushkin studied at the Imperial Lyceum in Tsarskoe Selo. His first publication was a collection of poems in 1814. He died on February 10, 1837, in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
