(listening for the main idea) Текст для аудирования:: An IT specialist: I originally went to university to study optics — but discovered it was the wrong career move for me. I then took a computer course in Belfast College of Technology and got work experience in a large accountancy firm. I discovered I enjoyed software development, so I took a university course on computer studies while I worked. Software development is very creative. You need to be good at solving problems. Good communication skills and confidence are necessary when understanding what the client needs. A lot of patience helps — it takes time to design, develop and test software. A dentist: I enjoy working with people, taking away their pain and giving them the confidence to smile again. I love working with my hands and the fact that I don’t sit at a desk all day. My advice is the best A levels to take are Chemistry, Biology and either Physics or Maths. The job can be both satisfying and stressful. Useful skills are clinical skills, IT, problem-solving, initiative, confidence, communication. An accountant: I work in a large firm from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. But my working hours may be long at busy times. Work is hard but my salary is very good. You should be confident with numbers, enjoy solving problems. Among the personal skills you should have team working and communication skills.
